JJASON blog 2012 in review

One of the reasons we love word press is that The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog. We want to say a big thank you to everyone who has read and commented on our blog. We can see people really like the cakes (especially Mary Berry’s cakes!) – so we’ll certainly keep making more cakes.

Here’s an excerpt from the report…

600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 5,800 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 10 years to get that many views.

If you’re really into chefs, you can search our recipes by chef and if you love their recipes you can also go to the JJASON amazon store and buy their books. We get a teeny payment for books purchased through the store – we’re not-for-profit – so anything earned goes straight into making new content (e.g. videos which we are starting to get into) for our readers.

Finally – if you want to search by cakes, salads, soups you can do that too.

Here’s to another year of local and seasonal food. In 2013 we are also focusing on growing more food in our tiny garden so there will be lots of gardening and growing posts. Stay with us and keeping on commenting and sharing your own recipes.

All best,

Caroline & Erinma
